The quality of this recoil pad is great. I have a different brand shooting vest which came with it's own gel pad. Much bulkier and didn't want to stay in the 'pocket' on the vest.

Instructions for use:
Simply insert the ShockEater® Recoil Pad into the shoulder pocket on your shooting garment (vest, shirt, jacket, etc.) with the flat side facing out. You are now ready to “Eat the Kick” and shoot more comfortably than ever before. Remove the recoil pad from the garment before dry cleaning or laundering.

Highly recommended
I have a 12ga over under with the factory recoil pad. The ShockEater does what its name says. I shoot 1200fps target loads and feel only a very slight push. No soreness, no bruising. I can shoot all day and go back for more. More importantly, there is no change in LOP. With these quality features and a very reasonable price, I highly recommend this product.

ShockEater Recoil Pad Works!
I shoot well over 400 rounds a week. I installed the ShockEater Recoil Pad as soon as it arrived in my vest and immediately put it to work in a 300 round handicap marathon. I felt fine when it was over. Looking forward to using it an the Idaho ATA State Shoot at the end of the month. Well worth the investment!
